MCX Silver Futures

MCX Silver Futures is India’s primary silver price benchmark, traded on the Multi Commodity Exchange under the ticker SILVER. The standard contract size is 30 kilograms of silver of 999 purity quoted in Indian rupees per kilogram. MCX Silver prices are directly influenced by international COMEX silver prices, the USD/INR exchange rate, and domestic industrial and investment demand. India is one of the world’s largest silver importers and the MCX Silver Futures contract serves as the official reference price for silver transactions across the country for jewellers, industrialists, and investors.
